Practical (34 hours)

  • Reading technical drawings
  • Stepped repair
  • Fabricating composite repair tooling
  • Identifying unknown fibre and fibre orientation
  • Repair of interior parts
  • Remove moisture from composite structure
  • Build up vacuum bag on complex shapes
  • Using the hot bonder (basics)
  • Repair of advanced aircraft components
  • Remove and installing inserts

  • FAA AC 65-33 (Aircraft Composites Repairs)

This training is the follow up of the Level 1 training of Advanced Composites. In this practical oriented training you will learn the fundamental knowledge of component manufacture, inspection and repair.
